THE MCMURPHY HAT.

The third year of our premium wool McMurphy hat, high end headwear handmade in England for us by master craftsmen Highland 2000. Made from Pure Scottish wool, we have 5 colours all featuring a lovely mix of coloured marl yarned into them. A luxury addition to our range of hats. These hats are a versatile 'watch' hat style, inspired by the crazy coolness of Randle P McMurphy. Limited numbers on these, around 30 per colour, these will go like Mandy Dingle in McDonalds.

THE OVERLOOK ...

Last year one half of us thought it might be a good idea to continue to push the boundaries and go with the craziest idea for a hat I've ever seen. Based more on lairy old school outdoor wear and their vibrant ski hats, the idea was a mix between that and some kind of Fairisle style hat but all based on the carpet from the spooky hotel in the cult Stanley Kubrick masterpiece The Shining. An inspired idea.
We pondered, agreed and disagreed and then both gave the thumbs up to producing just 100 of these lairy ski hats - and well what do you know they were gone in less than 6 seconds! Well you know the score by now, our titfers don't hang about and these were absolutely no exception. Far more people missed out than got one but that's kind of the point. So the cult phenomenon that was/is the Overlook is back for another limited run this year and it's out tonight at 7pm (UK time) who knows they might not hang around again this time! DC

BOARDWALK EMPIRE.

Television; it's in a golden age right now as a wealth of Hollywood quality productions and superb shows arrive on the smaller screen. We're pretty spoilt for choice nowadays and this, Boardwalk Empire is no exception. Personally it's probably our third favourite series and that's no mean feat when we're putting that behind The Sopranos and Breaking Bad.
Set in prohibition era Atlantic City and revolving around Nucky Thompson, a thoroughly decent Steve Buscemi and a rich supporting cast all on top form including Stephen Graham as Al Capone, Jack Huston as Richard Harrow, Michael Shannon as Nelson Van Alden/George Mueller and Bobby Cannavale as the bonkers psychopath Gyp Rosetti. It's so cool even Stephen Graham has one (above).
A fresh new take on some original Connoisseur designs from Peter O'Toole. Amazing detailing in this brand new illustration. Released tonight at 6pm. DC
