We've just taken delivery of some nice new swingtags for our product, these feature our trendy new mascot, a proper Connoisseur cutting quite a dash as I'm sure you'll agree, he's so cool he's soon to be seen on a brand new t-shirt aswell. YHN

SPRING SUMMER HIGHLIGHTS.

I know, I know it's still a bit cold and miserable right now, and we don't want to be discussing spring and summer wear, that said if you're anything like me then you'll probably prefer the colder months, I know, I'm fucking tapped I am, this recent mild weather we're having seems to have put paid to dressing like an old explorer when going out for a pint of milk in the morning, it seems a bit too soon.

Oh, no. Hang on it's pissing down again, huzzah!

But, before you know it, it'll be spring and you'll be eating tins of ravioli for a week because you've just spent all your money on a new jacket, then it'll be summer and you'll be sweating your bollocks off looking for a nice lightweight jacket that's acceptable even in the sun, here's a little sneaky peak at some of the forthcoming outerwear highlights from various look books and bloggers for the next selection of seasonal stuff that's caught my eye thus far. You probably don't really need another jacket, but if you're anything like me, you'll end up really needing one or two, there's probably a lot more out there too you know, as some other fave brands haven't surfaced yet. RATHER CHILDISH.

If you're anything like us in age and interests then you probably loved Star Wars and Action Force nee GI Joe figures as kids, thanks to my spends, with a vivid imagination I'd disappear upstairs until a week on Tuesday with my recently acquired pocket heroes and villains. Star Wars were incredible - a whole galaxy of characters, pretty much every single one made into a four inch toy, imagine turning the bathroom into Ice Planet Hoth with nothing but loads of talc and an AT-AT walker. You see I didn't keep them pristine in the box, I ripped it open, discarded it and played with them until their limbs became loose and paint flecked off them. I enjoyed them. In the summer time the garden or Sunday drives out somewhere would double up as anywhere I could imagine, I once took Flint, Beach head, Snake Eyes and co on a mission to help find Brady and Hindley's victims in my Grandma's back garden, I was only about eight years old to be fair. As I was when I recreated Predator at the bottom of our garden.
These were my childhood, an innocent childhood, before football and then later masturbation (oo err) captured my imagination further, they still look dead familiar, still look quite cool, yeah, it's geeky, nerdy and some might say a bit sad to take pics of stuff like this, but everyone has their own interests and passions, why knock 'em? I for one am glad they do, as I can relive spiffing childhood memories at the click of a mouse. Memories I gave away for fuck all at car boot sales when owning toys was something of an embarrassment, I virtually had them all aswell, every last little one, thankfully these guys didn't give all theirs away... UPDATE....

Firstly even though we've already wished it, Happy New Year once again. The old festive period is gone and normal service must resume! So it's time for another one of those 'update' posts. Firstly to let people know that all sales over the festive period and beyond have been despatched, apologies for any delays, though most were/are out of our hands. We have had one or two enquiries - even now you may need to allow an extra day or two for items to reach you as the backlog gets back to some form of normality.

Secondly The new limited edition Weir Bobble will be available to purchase from next week. They don't tend to hang around so keep an eye out if you want one, they will be for sale from Monday unless something strange happens in the meantime.

Also the end of year SALE has been a success, there's still some stock remaining, some maybe limited sizing now but there's a few bargains to be had.

And finally...
Some exciting new product is on the way...
Whilst this miserable and cold weather remains - we've got two new sweatshirts in development that should be on their way into production in the next week, like the current ones these will be both a printed sweat and another patch style sweat, as always both totally different.

GOOD REMAKES...

There's a trend in Hollywood right now to churn out remakes like there's no tomorrow, most of which are absolute shite and totally unnecessary, y'know like every horror film imaginable, old comedies which were not that good originally, and things like the Karate Kid, not to mention pointless re tellings of good European indie films totally lost in translation.

Well, it's not all bad news, here's two film re-makes coming soon, that look actually worth bothering with...
First up is a retelling of the 1947 Richard Attenborough starring 'Brighton Rock' with both being based on Graham Greene's novel - this one being set later in the 60s mod era and starring Sam Riley (Control) as Pinkie Brown, with support from Helen Mirren, Andrea Riseborough John Hurt and the always reliable Phil Davis.

And then there's the usually always reliable Coen's True Grit a remake of the John Wayne classic.
Starring Jeff Bridges in the Wayne role of 'Rooster' Cogburn, with support coming from Matt Damon and Josh Brolin. YHN
